Northrop Grumman Space Systems (formerly Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems, before that Orbital ATK) is a U.S. aerospace, defense and aviation company headquartered in Dulles, Virginia that was formed in 2015 from the merger of Orbital Sciences Corporation and ATK Aerospace and Defense, the defense division of Alliant Techsystems, and acquired by Northrop Grumman in 2018.
Its operations are divided into three divisions: Air Systems, Defense Systems, and Space Systems.
